This episode was fine overall. But damn I regret complaining about them always using the opening for the important battles, now I miss it ><
Also, kinda weird how both Itsuki and Ryoga want to hear the other scream, but... Huh... Nah, no buts there.
Now it's Light's turn. Either he wins or the battle is interrupted, seeing how 7th Flame have been dominating the entire tournament, I doubt they make it difficult for him... Although Mikado might as well want to battle him just because, using another kind of ultimatum to force them.
Anyway, I hope they talk about the "chosen one" thingy, or the Seven Shadows relevance in this season... Something related to the plot at least.

that's not gonna work with mobile game version of Cosmos Fang, since she bounces all followers regardless of Defense over there so the board will always be empty after evolve

at best they could keep the stats buffs which would make it even easier to get OTK with

This episode was pure bullshit! There was no way Itsuki could have won that battle unless they pulled a final power-up off his ass like that. I mean, WHO makes a card that can deal 14 damage in 1 end of turn?!? Cool characters like Ryouga never lose to wimpy losers like him unless its for plot purposes! I can already see Light beating Haruma as well, which will be also for plot! These obvious scenarios are frustrating! :(

that card does not simply deal 14 damage , did you even watch the episode properly ?
